We will be exploring creative ways to use digital math manipulatives from the Math Learning Center focusing on Number Pieces (base ten blocks). The Math Learning Center Apps can be used on Chromebooks or on iPads. We’ll show you how to create a math task using Google Slides as a template for students to show their work. Students will copy their digital representation from Number Pieces and explain their thinking by typing, voice recording, or creating a screencast and paste it in the Google Slide. This Over the Shoulder will focus on grades 2-6.
